Matthew E. Novesky

Experience

Since joining WJE in 2000, Matthew Novesky has been involved in numerous assignments related to the inspection and repair of distressed conditions in existing buildings. Mr. Novesky’s specific expertise is in evaluation and repair design for masonry and historic buildings and structures, including brick, terra cotta, and stone masonry for a number of National Historic Landmark and local landmarked buildings. Project types have ranged from churches to high-rise office buildings.

Mr. Novesky leads multidisciplinary teams as project architect/engineer and project manager in the assessment and repair design for these existing buildings. He is skilled in nondestructive facade inspection techniques, field documentation, and development of appropriate repairs. He is a senior member of WJE’s Difficult Access Team, which utilizes industrial rope access techniques to perform evaluations and investigations.
